Pickering wrote and submitted a Phase I Solvent Impact Assessment Report, dated December 2001 to TDEC/DCERP for the former dry cleaner site. Subsequent to that phase of investigation, Pickering prepared work plans and submitted to DCERP for performing follow-on investigations. Currently, investigations are underway with the installation of a passive soil-gas monitoring network to aid in analyzing the horizontal fate/transport of the DNAPL contaminants in soil and groundwater. Additionally, the use of groundwater passive diffusion sampling systems have been deployed in existing groundwater monitoring wells to provide information on the vertical fate/transport of the DNAPL's with respect to information gained from the soil-gas detectors. Report of findings will be issued to the TDEC/DCERP in October 2002.
