Pickering provides on-going services, which include site investigation, design, management, construction observation and reporting for 16 sites containing underground fuel storage tanks for Ultramar Diamond Shamrock. Site locations include: Arkansas Tennessee Michigan Kentucky Initial Site Work & Sampling Initial site assessment and sampling activities associated with system upgrade or repair have been conducted at various locations. Full site closure has also been conducted at various stations during this phase of work. Environmental Assessment Activities Full environmental assessment activities conducted on site have included well installation and sampling, contaminants delineation, free product recovery, aeration of contaminated soils, pump tests of impacted aquifers and preparation of State Division required reports. Remediation Activities Site remediation activities have included system design and installation of free product skimming systems, total fluids recovery and treatment systems, soil aeration and bioremediation technologies addressing facility release of petroleum products.
