Harbor Walk
Situated at the Main Harbor location of the 33,000-acre Ross Barnett Reservoir in Ridgeland, Mississippi, this mixed-use development will be an extremely important development in the region. The project has been described as the "Town Center of the Ross Barnett Reservoir."
Pickering has been tasked to provide site/civil engineering services for the new development.
Harbor Walk, a development of Main Harbor Development, LLC, plans to offer the possibility of living, working, eating, shopping, boating and enjoying life within one community. The community will be comprised of over one million square feet of retail, restaurant, office, hotel and condominium space in just the first phase.
The first phase of the project is expected to cost approximately $175 million and include more than 1 million square feet. Eventually, Harbor Walk will be 125 acres, offering 3.5 million square feet of shops, condos and offices on the waterfront. The look and feel of the project will be upscale urban. Focus of the building fronts will be facing the waters of the reservoir.
The project's website, www.harborwalkms.com, provides images, map, and additional information concerning Harbor Walk plans.
