Holly Springs Road

Pickering will be designing a new bridge on Holly Springs Road across the Coldwater River in Desoto County. This new bridge and approaches will be constructed on a new alignment and will be designed to eliminate the overtopping of existing Holly Springs Road which occurs during a significant flood event.

An Environmental Assessment will be performed to satisfy the NEPA requirements as related to land use, farmland, social, community impacts/environmental justice, relocations, and economic impacts. All resource agencies will be provided written narratives regarding wetlands, noise impacts, no-rise commitment, water quality, historic studies, threatened and endangered species, hazardous waste sites, and farmland concerns.
