Riviana Foods New Facility

Riviana purchased a 31-acre site adjacent to their Memphis packaging plant. The new facility will total 421,000 SF. The project includes a 141,000 SF warehouse; 52,000 SF regular rice packaging; 43,000 SF instant rice packaging; 128,000 SF rice processing; and storage, office, and ancillary areas.

Pickering was selected to provide Master Planning, Environmental Permitting, Survey, Civil Design, Project Management, Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing for the new facility. Demolition Design and Construction Administration of 360,000 SF of existing facilities to prepare the site has already occurred.
