DeSoto County Wastewater/Sewer Infrastructure

Pickering provided surveying services in support of the DeSoto County Wastewater and Sewer Infrastructure project. The entire project will include advance planning, and design and construction services for the implementation of a countywide program to meet the wastewater and sewer infrastructure needs of DeSoto County, Mississippi through the year 2020.

Pickering provided four survey teams to establish ground control for aerial mapping for the entire county. Surveying services included the identification of over 120 points throughout approximately a 160 square mile area. GPS vertical and horizontal data was gathered for each point.

Additional services include the pulling of tax maps, property research and route surveys for 73 miles of gravity interceptor sewers, pumping stations and force mains.
