Jacksonville Water and Sewer Expansion Authority

Pickering, in association with Global Water Resources Management, is providing Comprehensive Project Delivery Team (PDT) Services including:

The completed effort will extend wastewater services to 22 of 69 unsewered areas of the City of Jacksonville, Florida. The cost to serve the12, 000 homes and businesses in these 22 areas is estimated at $160 million. Our PDT is assisting WSEA in securing the full funding necessary using a comprehensive funding plan consisting of over 30 carefully researched and viable funding sources. Our work may also provide advance planning for the remaining 45 of the 69 unsewered areas, all of which are the result of a consolidation of Duval County and City services under the City of Jacksonville. The elimination of failing septic systems is a major goal of the City and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in their effort to restore and protect the water quality of the St John's River.
